Gig'n the Bann

A truly unique event, Gig’n the Bann is a cross-community music and dance festival staged in the village each autumn. Started in 2000 it has become ‘…. one of the major events on the Summer Festival Calendar having built a reputation for offering a most impressive line-up of top performers spanning Traditional, Scottish and Folk Music circles.” Staged in a number of venues throughout the village it is one of those events which captures the imagination simply because it caters for a huge range of musical tastes.
