Marina and Newferry tourism facilities are both located on the banks of the River Bann. Portglenone, a unique village with plenty of character, is just less than five minutes from the Marina, and Newferry lies approximately six miles east of the village.
When work is completed, Portglenone will have 30 berths for boats. Other developments include improved access points, canoe steps, camping area, pump out facility, security fencing and additional facilities for watersports users.

Newferry has seen the construction of a new reinforced concrete slipway, revetment treatment to the existing river bank, new fencing and paths, canoe landing steps, piling for future pontoons, lighting and resurfacing of the existing car park.

The public can launch their vessels at both venues by contacting either the caretaker for Portglenone Marina Tel 07974 474181 or the Tourist Information Centre for Newferry Tel 028 2563 5900.
